P90X Yoga X is the Real Deal

My first week of P90X, I neglected to do the Yoga work out, skipping it for “I will get enough cardio during my softball game”. I am sorry that I skipped YogaX on the first week. I did Yoga X yesterday (in week 2) and was impressed with the depth of the positions, the pace and the atmosphere that Tony and the gang created.

During the session, I felt very relaxed and was able to clear my mind. I also stretched muscles that I forgot I had. I learned that I am not flexible, not even at the most rudimentary level. However, I felt great during and after the program. I highly recommend that your YogaX day not be skipped, but be attended to with as much passion as possible. You may not be able to complete the entire program at first, but your body will adjust and you will progress to be able to complete YogaX within a couple of weeks.

My only complaint about YogaX is the duration of the program. YogaX is 1 hour 30 minutes long which is about 45 minutes too long (in my opinion). It is difficult to do any workout for an hour and a half, let alone doing Yoga for that amount of time.

All in all, this is a great workout that I know will increase my flexibility and overall fitness.
